San Bernardino County’s Department of Public Health Can Help Test Your Employees |
A large part of San Bernardino County’s reopening plan depends on businesses being able to serve the public while ensuring the health and safety of employees. Businesses can take many different measures to make sure that their employees are safer from COVID-19, such as requiring masks, putting up shields, social distancing, and daily health/wellness checks.
Right now the Department of Public Health (DPH) is reaching out to assess the interest level of businesses within the County to conduct on-site testing for their employees. Expanding testing to businesses will help us greatly increase the amount of testing being done in our County. This will help us better track the infection in our communities and also provide the data we need to demonstrate it is safe to keep our businesses open, as well as eventually relax the remaining restrictions. DPH can partner with your businesses to increase COVID-19 testing among your employees and support those who are positive or exposed. Use this Business Partnership Form if you: So far, 14 businesses throughout San Bernardino County have expressed interest in the testing program. They range in size from more than 300 employees in the logistics sector, to midsize restaurants and small retailers. For interested business owners, a County official will be in touch.
